Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 August 2026
These terms govern your use of www.theknowhow.uk (“the Site”) and any engagement of consulting services with The KnowHow Company (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using the Site or engaging us, you agree to these terms.
1. Who we are
The KnowHow Company is a UK-registered business consulting firm operating across Egypt and the wider Middle East. For correspondence: hello@theknowhow.uk.
2. Use of the Site
You agree to:
- Use the Site only for lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the Site or its APIs.
- Not submit false, misleading, or malicious content via our forms.
- Respect intellectual property rights.
We may restrict or block access for users who violate these terms.
3. Intellectual property
All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, methodology frameworks, and software — is the property of The KnowHow Company or its licensors, protected by UK and international IP law. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without written permission.
“The KnowHow Company”, “Research before recommendations”, and related slogans are trademarks of the company.
4. Consulting engagements
Submitting a contact form does not create a consulting engagement. A formal engagement begins only when both parties sign a Statement of Work (SOW) or a consulting agreement. Each SOW will specify scope, fees, timeline, and deliverables separately.
Standard consulting terms (payment, confidentiality, IP assignment, liability, termination) are governed by the signed SOW and our standard Master Services Agreement, available on request.
5. Confidentiality & NDA
We treat all client information as confidential. We routinely sign mutual NDAs before substantive discussions. Our default confidentiality terms survive termination of any engagement.
6. Disclaimers
- The Site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
- Content on the Site is for informational purposes and does not constitute professional advice. Consulting advice is provided only within a signed engagement.
- We do not guarantee specific business outcomes; results depend on many factors outside our control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The KnowHow Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the Site is limited to USD 100.
Liability for consulting engagements is governed by the signed SOW.
8. Third-party links & services
The Site may link to third-party services (e.g. calendar booking, analytics). We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties. Review their terms and privacy policies independently.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights in your country of residence.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
